FAQ
What is Doctor eLearning and who is it for?
+
Doctor eLearning is a toolkit that lets you compress, edit, and translate
published eLearning content (including SCORM packages) without needing
the original source files. It’s designed for L&D teams, instructional
designers, content owners, and LMS administrators who need to optimize
course size, update media, and localize content quickly.
Will SCORM compression affect course quality or functionality?
+
Our compression engine optimizes media (images, audio, video) while
preserving core course functionality and manifest structure. Visual and
audio quality are balanced against target size to minimize any noticeable
loss. The resulting package remains SCORM-compliant and ready for your LMS.
Which formats and tools do you support?
+
We support SCORM 1.2 and SCORM 2004 packages and commonly used media
formats such as PNG/JPG, MP3, MP4/WebM. For translation, we support DOCX
and XLIFF-based workflows. Content authored in tools like Articulate
Storyline, Rise, Captivate, and others can be processed after publishing.
Can I edit images, audio, or video without the source project files?
+
Yes. You can replace or update media directly inside the published
package. This is useful for quick fixes like updating logos, replacing
background audio, or swapping a video—without opening the authoring tool.
How does translation work and how many languages are supported?
+
Upload your DOCX or XLIFF files, select the target language(s), and
download the translated outputs. We support 130+ languages and can help
with UI text, on-screen copy, and captions/subtitles where available.
Will the compressed package work with my LMS?
+
Yes. Compressed packages remain SCORM-compliant and are tested to work
with major LMS platforms. If your LMS supports SCORM 1.2 or 2004, you
can upload and launch the optimized course as usual.
Is there a free trial? What are the limits?
+
Yes. Our free Basics account provides a one‑month trial with access to
key features like DOCX/XLIFF translation and compression, with fair‑use
limits (for example, translation up to 10,000 characters). Some actions
may require credits at download time.
How is my data handled and is it secure?
+
We process your files solely to provide the requested service (compression,
editing, translation). Data is transmitted over secure channels, and we
follow industry best practices for privacy. Please contact us if you need
a detailed data handling and retention brief for compliance reviews.
How do I get support or request a guided demo?
+
You can book a live walkthrough using the “Book a Demo” button or the
form in the “Get In Touch With Us Now” section. For general queries,
use the contact form and our team will get back to you promptly.
